The story of
RiverPointe began in the mid-1800's when the gently
curving shoreline of the Napa River marked a reference
point for rugged barges of commerce and quaint boats
bulging with passengers... all destined for San
Francisco. Activity on the river was stimulated by the
gold prospectors of '49 seeking the serenity of the
valley, and miners flocking to the area with the 1858
discovery of silver in Napa. It was at this location now
appropriately named "RiverPointe" that pilots
and passengers could anticipate their crafts approaching
the open waters leading to the golden gateway of the
Pacific Ocean. An attractive new
community of charming Wine Country Cottages now rises
alongside the fabled Silverado Trail in scenic Napa
Valley. RiverPointe is a private enclave of
uniquely-designed homes situated smartly in an exclusive
resort setting on the Napa River's shore at the point
where it turns toward the sea.

For
centuries the Napa River has served as a dominant force
in the cultural fabric and economic stability of the
region. It's the heartline of the world-famous Napa
Valley wine country that courses through the picturesque
small towns of Calistoga, St. Helena, Rutherford,
Oakville, and Yountville before gliding casually past
RiverPointe. Today the river is bordered by lush
vineyards rolling across the scenic countryside. As a vacation resort
at the portal to Napa Valley, RiverPointe and its staff
invite members to share in the good times that await
them. Here in our valley fine wines, exquisite dining,
and lively recreation are as plentiful as the joyful
mood filling this magnificent portrait of nature, so
beautifully presented. Those seeking a retreat from the
stresses of everyday living are welcome at RiverPointe,
where time is on their side.
